This is a design concept, not a client project. It demonstrates how a confusing mobile ordering experience can be redesigned to help returning customers reorder quickly, with fewer steps and a smoother checkout.

Context

A café whose ordering flow fights its own regulars.

Slammin Brew is a café-style business where a meaningful share of revenue comes from repeat, mobile-placed orders. That makes reorder speed — not menu browsing — the flow that actually moves revenue. This concept treats "order again" as the primary job, not a feature bolted onto a general menu browser.

The decision

Put the reorder path where browsing used to start.

The redesign puts Reorder Your Last Order front and center so returning customers can order again with fewer steps. Quick and easy, the shopping cart stays visible the entire time, and checkout only asks for the information needed.

Menu-first grid. Reordering means re-browsing every category.

Last order surfaced first, one dominant action to repeat it.

Mobile experience

Built at 375px first, not scaled down from desktop.

Touch targets hold a 44–48px minimum with no overlap. The reorder action stays in thumb range at the bottom of the viewport. Checkout fields reduce to what a repeat mobile order requires, with input preserved if a step fails validation.
